Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CognitiveCart website (cognitivecartplugin.com) and the CognitiveCart WordPress plugin ("Plugin"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Use of the Plugin is also subject to the EULA and Refund Policy (plugin ID 24832).

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Website or the Plugin, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CognitiveCart is an agentic commerce gateway for WooCommerce that makes your store discoverable and transactable by AI agents via UCP/ACP protocols. The Plugin is provided under the GPL v2 or later license. Use of optional Stripe Connect and related services may be subject to additional terms and fees as described on the Pricing page.

3. Use of the Plugin

You must use the Plugin in compliance with applicable laws and WordPress and WooCommerce requirements. You are responsible for your store content, data, and compliance with payment and privacy regulations in your jurisdiction.

4. Intellectual Property

The CognitiveCart name, logo, and branding are owned by CognitiveCart or its licensors. The Plugin code is licensed under GPL v2 or later. You may use, modify, and distribute the Plugin in accordance with that license.

5. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars, whichever is greater.

7. Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will indicate the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
